TENORIC 50MG TABLET is a combination of Atenolol and Chlorthalidone which belongs to the group of medicines called Antihypertensive agents. It is used to manage hypertension.

Hypertension (also known as high blood pressure) is a medical condition in which the force of the blood exerted against the walls of the artery remains very high, and as a result it may lead to severe damage to the blood vessels supplying several vital organs, such as heart, kidney, or brain. If left unmanageed, it may cause serious complications such as heart attack, heart failure, stroke or even blindness.

Before taking TENORIC 50MG TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have asthma, diabetes, high blood cholesterol levels, thyroid problems, dehydration, or a very low blood sodium, potassium or magnesium levels as a precaution.

TENORIC 50MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with any other heart problems apart from hypertension (such as heart failure, heart block). Do not take TENORIC 50MG TABLET if you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant or planning to have a baby or breastfeeding without consulting your doctor.

The most common side effects of taking TENORIC 50MG TABLET are headache, dizziness, diabetes, low blood potassium or sodium levels, impotence in men, slow heartbeat and cold hands and feet. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects trouble you.
