TFCT-NIB Tablet contains Tofacitinib 5 mg as the active ingredient.
It belongs to a class of medicines known as Janus Kinase (JAK) inhibitors.
Uses / Indications
TFCT-NIB Tablet is used to treat autoimmune and inflammatory disorders, where the immune system attacks the bodys own tissues.
Main indications include:
- Rheumatoid arthritis to reduce joint pain, swelling, and stiffness.
- Psoriatic arthritis arthritis associated with psoriasis.
- Ulcerative colitis inflammation of the colon and rectum.
- Ankylosing spondylitis long-term inflammation of the spine and joints.
How It Works
Tofacitinib blocks Janus kinase (JAK) enzymes, which are involved in the signaling pathways of the immune system.
By inhibiting these enzymes, it helps control abnormal immune activity and reduces inflammation, pain, and swelling in affected areas.
Dosage and Administration
- The dosage is decided by your doctor based on the condition and response.
