TORVOX 10 TABLET contains Vortioxetine which belongs to the group of medicines called Antidepressants. It is used to manage depression (major depressive episodes) in adults. Depression is a mood disorder characterized by persistent feeling of sadness, loss of interest, feeling guilty or worthless, attention impairment, lack of energy, suicidal thoughts and slow or abnormal physical movements.

Before taking TORVOX 10 TABLET inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems. You must also inform your doctor if you currently have or have a previous history of fits (epilepsy), glaucoma, suicidal thoughts, mania or bleeding problems as a precaution.

TORVOX 10 TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women unless considered necessary by the physician. It is also not suitable for use in children aged below 18 years.

The most common side effects of taking TORVOX 10 TABLET are nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation, dizziness, itching of the whole body, abnormal dreams (nightmares) and increased sweating. These side effects are usually temporary and will resolve on its own within 2 weeks of therapy. However, consult your doctor if they worsen.

You must also inform your doctor if you experience worsening of depression or suicidal thoughts or behaviour after taking TORVOX 10 TABLET.
