TRIGAN D is a combination of Dicyclomine, and Paracetamol which belongs to the group of medicines called Antispasmodics, Analgesic and Anti-pyretic respectively. It is used for the management of stomach cramps, renal and biliary colic, as well as pain from gynaecologic or surgical conditions. It is also used to manage functional bowel disease and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

Avoid consuming alcohol while taking TRIGAN D, as it may increase the side effects. TRIGAN D is not recommended in patients with an unstable cardiovascular condition with acute haemorrhage, myasthenia gravis, glaucoma, obstructive uropathy, obstructive disease of the gastrointestinal tract, severe ulcerative colitis, or reflux esophagitis.

TRIGAN D should be used with caution in patients with severe liver and kidney disease, hypertension, coronary heart disease, congestive heart failure, cardiac tachyarrhythmia, psychosis, and delirium (such as elderly patients and/or in patients with mental illness), incomplete intestinal obstruction (the small intestine partially or totally blocked), patients with salmonella dysentery, ulcerative colitis (inflammatory bowel disease), prostatic hypertrophy (prostate gland enlargement), hyperthyroidism, alcoholism, and in patients who take painkillers often for headache, etc.

TRIGAN D should be used with caution in pregnant women, unless considered necessary. TRIGAN D is not recommended for use by breastfeeding women. TRIGAN D is not recommended for use by children under 10 years of age. TRIGAN D should be used with caution by elderly patients.

The most common side effects of taking TRIGAN D are hypersensitivity reactions, dry mouth, upset stomach, vomiting, constipation, and gas or bloating. Contact your doctor if any of the symptoms get worse.
