
VALBET SKIN CREAM is a combination of Beclomethasone dipropionate, Miconazole and Neomycin which belongs to a group of medicines called Corticosteroids, Antifungals and Aminoglycoside antibiotics, respectively. VALBET SKIN CREAM is used to manage, control, manage & improve the conditions and symptoms of runny nose, hay fever/allergic rhinitis (type of nose inflammation), ulcerative colitis (inflammatory bowel disease), asthma, hepatic coma (nervous system disorder that occurs due to severe liver disease), wound, ulcers, external ear infections, eye infections, diarrhea, napkin rash, paronychia (nail inflammation), bacterial infections and fungal infections such as vulvovaginal candidiasis and vaginal yeast infections.
A bacterial infection occurs when a bacterium enters the body and causes a reaction that leads to infection, which is characterised by symptoms such as difficulty breathing, persistent cough and fever. A fungal infection is a skin disease caused by a fungus that lives on plants, dirt and household surfaces and, upon contact, leads to skin diseases generally characterised by symptoms such as irritation, scaly skin, itching and swelling in the affected individuals.
VALBET SKIN CREAM is not recommended for use in patients with skin problems such as acne (pimples), rosacea (severe flushing of the skin), perioral dermatitis (spotty red rash around your mouth), viral infections, fungal infections and skin blisters or sores that are caused by an infection.
Before applying VALBET SKIN CREAM, inform your doctor if you have cystic fibrosis (a genetic disorder that damages the lungs, digestive tract and other organs), psoriasis (itchy skin), abdominal pain, chills or fever. VALBET SKIN CREAM should be used with caution during pregnancy and only when necessary in breastfeeding women.
It is not recommended for use in children (below 1 year) and should be used with caution in children and adolescents (aged 2 to 18 years) after consulting the doctor. The most common symptoms of applying VALBET SKIN CREAM are an itchy rash, burning or stinging sensations and/or itchiness at the site of the application. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms get worse.
Always apply VALBET SKIN CREAM, as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. On the affected area, apply a thin layer of this medicine. Managed areas on the face need not be covered with a plaster or bandage. Do not apply VALBET SKIN CREAM to your face beyond 5 days. Avoid applying VALBET SKIN CREAM around your eyes, including your eyelids.
