VENIZ XR 37.5MG CAPSULE contains Venlafaxine which belongs to the group of medicines called Antidepressants. It is used in adults to manage depression, anxiety disorders and panic attacks (fear).
Depression is a mental health disorder characterized by persistant depressed mood, lack of interest, feeling of guilt, sleep disturbances or sucidial thoughts for a prolonged period (more than 2 weeks) that causes significant impairment in performing day-to-day activities.
Before taking VENIZ XR 37.5MG CAPSULE, inform your doctor if you have diabetes or any liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have or have a family history of bipolar disorder, mania or epilepsy. Do not take VENIZ XR 37.5MG CAPSULE if you are pregnant or breastfeeding without consulting your doctor.
The most common side effects of taking VENIZ XR 37.5MG CAPSULE are headache, dizziness, drowsiness, lack of sleep, dry mouth and sexual problems. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects worsen.

Directions of Use
Take VENIZ XR 37.5MG CAPSULE with food or as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not cursh or chew the medicine.
Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of theray for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
Do not stop taking VENIZ XR 37.5MG CAPSULE abruptly as it may lead to withdrawal symptoms such as aggressiveness, tiredness, dizziness, sleeplessness, nightmares, dry mouth, nervousness, agitation, confusion or ringing in the ears.
