Vigoquin Eye Ointment contains Moxifloxacin, a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat bacterial eye infections. It helps eliminate infection-causing bacteria, reducing symptoms like redness, swelling, itching, and discharge in the eyes.

Uses

• Bacterial Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye): Treats bacterial infections causing redness and discharge.
• Eye Ulcers & Infections: Used to manage corneal ulcers and other bacterial eye infections.
• Post-Surgical Infections: Prevents bacterial infections after eye surgeries.

Dosage & Application

• As prescribed by a doctor.
• Apply a small strip (about 1 cm) inside the lower eyelid 2-3 times daily or as directed.
• Do not touch the applicator tip to avoid contamination.
• Close your eyes gently after application for proper absorption.

Side Effects

• Common: Mild eye irritation, redness, blurred vision, watery eyes.
• Rare but Serious: Severe eye pain, swelling, allergic reactions.

Precautions

• Do not wear contact lenses while using this ointment.
