VIGOQUIN LP EYE DROPS is a combination of Loteprednol and Moxifloxacin which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids and Antibiotics respectively. VIGOQUIN LP EYE DROPS is used in the management of postoperative steroid responsive inflammatory ocular infections or risk of bacterial ocular infections exists.
Before using VIGOQUIN LP EYE DROPS, your doctor may want you to take relevant tests to understand your existing condition. Do not wear contact lenses if you have an active eye infection or while using this medicine.
VIGOQUIN LP EYE DROPS is not recommended for use in patients with viral diseases of the cornea and conjunctiva including epithelial herpes simplex keratitis (dendritic keratitis), vaccinia, and varicella, and also in mycobacterial infection of the eye and fungal diseases of ocular structures.
Before using VIGOQUIN LP EYE DROPS, inform your doctor if you have diabetes, increased pressure in the eye, glaucoma, damage of nerves supplying the eye, any visual disturbances, cataract, delay in healing, pus discharge from the eye.
There are no adequate data available for the use of VIGOQUIN LP EYE DROPS during pregnancy, lactation and in infants. Consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Prolonged use of VIGOQUIN LP EYE DROPS may result in overgrowth of non-susceptible organisms, including fungi. Cataract formation and delayed wound healing can happen with prolonged usage.
The most common side effects of using VIGOQUIN LP EYE DROPS are decreased visual acuity, dry eye, keratitis, ocular discomfort, ocular hyperemia, ocular pain, ocular pruritus, sub-conjunctival hemorrhage, tearing, optic nerve damage. Consult your doctor if any of the above side effects worsen.

Directions of Use
Use VIGOQUIN LP EYE DROPS as directed by your doctor. It is for ophthalmic use only. Instill one to two drops into the eye as advised by your doctor. Avoid touching the nostril tip of the medicine with your hands or eye surface to avoid contamination.
