Zoline-Plus Eye Drops 10ml œ Detailed Information

Composition:

  • Camphor (0.01% w/v): Provides a cooling effect and relieves minor eye irritation.
  • Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (0.25% w/v): Acts as a lubricant to alleviate dryness and discomfort in the eyes.
  • Menthol (0.005% w/v): Offers a soothing sensation and reduces irritation.
  • Naphazoline (0.05% w/v): A decongestant that constricts blood vessels in the eye, reducing redness and swelling.
  • Phenylephrine (0.012% w/v): Another decongestant that helps in reducing eye redness by constricting blood vessels.

Uses:

Zoline-Plus Eye Drops are used to relieve symptoms associated with allergic eye conditions, such as:

  • Redness.
  • Swelling.
  • Itching.
  • Watering of the eyes.

It provides temporary relief from discomfort caused by minor eye irritations.

Dosage & Administration:

  • Administration Route: Ophthalmic (for eye use only).
  • Dosage: Instill one or two drops into the affected eye(s) up to four times daily or as directed by a healthcare professional.
  • Instructions:
    • Wash hands thoroughly before use.
    • Shake the bottle well before each use.
    • Tilt your head back and pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
    • Hold the dropper above the eye and squeeze out a drop into the pocket.
    • Close your eye and press the inner corner gently for about one minute to prevent the liquid from draining into the tear duct.
    • Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination.

Side Effects:

  • Common:
    • Eye irritation or discomfort.
    • Stinging or burning sensation upon application.
    • Blurred vision.
    • Photophobia (sensitivity to light).
  • Uncommon:
