Uses:

• Manages Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus by controlling blood sugar levels.
• Helps improve insulin sensitivity and reduce glucose production in the liver.

Composition:

• Glimepiride (1mg) œ A sulfonylurea that stimulates the pancreas to release insulin.
• Metformin (500mg/1000mg, depending on variant) œ A biguanide that reduces glucose production and absorption.

Dosage:

• Usually taken once daily with meals, as prescribed by a doctor.
• Swallow whole with water, do not crush or chew.
• Dosage may be adjusted based on blood sugar levels.

Side Effects:

• Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), dizziness, sweating
• Nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort
