It is a combination medicine containing Dapagliflozin 10mg and Metformin 1000mg, both belonging to the group of medicines known as antidiabetic agents. Dapagliflozin works by inhibiting SGLT2, which leads to increased glucose excretion in the urine, thereby reducing blood glucose levels. Metformin primarily works by decreasing glucose production in the liver, reducing glucose absorption from the intestines, and improving the body's sensitivity to insulin, allowing it to use blood sugar more effectively.
