TYZA M is a combination of Mometasone and Terbinafine which belongs to the group of medicines called Topical corticosteroids and Antifungals, respectively. TYZA M is used to manage fungal skin infections associated with inflammation and itching.

A fungal infection is a type of skin disease caused by a fungus which is a microorganism that invades the tissue and cause disease that's confined to the skin and spreads into tissue, bones, organs and other parts of the body with symptoms generally including skin rash or vaginal infection resulting in abnormal discharge.

Avoid using TYZA M, if you have rosacea (a skin condition affecting the face), acne (pimples), skin atrophy (thinning of the skin), genital itching, nappy rash, shingles (viral infection), warts (type of skin infection) and ulcerated skin.

Before using TYZA M, inform your doctor if you have psoriasis (itchy skin rash) or any other skin problems. This medicine is not recommended for use during pregnancy unless it is clearly advised by the doctor and it is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women.

TYZA M is not recommended for use in children (aged below 12 years). The most common side effects of using TYZA M are skin peeling and itching. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects get worse.

Directions of Use

Always apply TYZA M as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. On the affected area, apply a thin layer of this medicine. Managed areas need not be covered with plaster or bandage. Your doctor will decide the duration and frequency of using this medicine depending upon severity of the infection.
